Food came out super hot and super fast! Service was kind and attentive. I got the Chicken Parmesan Alfredo. The chicken was super pleasantly crispy, and the pasta was great, though it didn't taste like other restaurants. I thought it tasted about as different from the standard as home cooking, but in a good way! Except for maybe the garlic bread, which wasn't as crispy as one might have liked. I had some of my husband's fries, which were seasoned super well, and he seemed to enjoy his burger. The Captain Jack's Buried Treasure cake was really good too, but I'd recommend having someone to share it with! I'm still not exactly sure what a Zinger® is, and didn't really feel like asking with the amount of times it showed up on the menu, but it would have been nice for there to be an obvious definition somewhere. TVs had at least three different programs on, which were all very entertaining. I forgot to take a picture of the cake because my husband was explaining to me why there were two people beating each other bloody on one of the TVs. 😅 Slightly stomach-churning for me, but nailed the sports bar vibe!
My sister and I went for lunch. Ordered the chicken quesadilla and 35 shrimp. Nice portions and both were delicious. So was my apple martini. Love the sports bar atmosphere!
Off and on for many years a favorite place to eat. Love the fried calamari always. Updated menu for July 2024 visitors.
I love the service and the atmosphere, it's fun and laid back. My one ding is that the prices have gone up recently and I can't seem to justify the price increase to what you're getting. Yes the food is good, I have yet to have a bad plate but some of the prices are steep for what you are getting. Even with that being said, I will continue coming back just not as frequently
I arrived early afternoon. Hostess gave me lunch and dinner menus. Wait staff took my order. I was indicating from lunch menu that I wanted fish and chips ($7.99). When I was served my delicious 5 big pieces of fish (at 2:38 pm), I mentioned that that was a lot for lunch. I was told with a lovely smile... lunch ended at 2:00pm.!! Although the food was wonderful and the wait staff was very pleasant, it cost much more than I was expecting and way too much food... My advice is to be clear in the beginning when you order. The up charge is fine. I just don't like wasting food....so by taking it home, the extra fish will last me several days. Next, I'll clarify... Lunch portion!!!
