I travel all over the country for work and try a lot of different salons/ barbers shops. This was my favorite. Why? Because I called last minute and they got me in and took care of me. I called several other places I'm not going to name but I found my place. I'm actually going to have a house here so I can check this one off my list. Plus, there is a gym / healthy food restaurant next door. Win win. I have to give a shout-out to my hair stylist Sam she was funominal. There was some confusion on what service I was she made it happen. The products used at this salon are the best I have seen, and I thought I had tried them all. I also got to meet a lady who does sculpting here. I was like, what do you mean sculpting? She uses high frequency to literally take fat away, and she demonstrated to me how it works. She was super sweet and helpful. I am definitely getting some services in the future. Overall, the whole experience here was like I was like family warm and welcoming. I don't know who the owner his but her staff were funominal and got my business. The best part is that I got some food while waiting to get finished with the other staff too. I was starving and didn't know where I was going to eat lunch. I heard them ordering some yummy healthy food from next door, and they got me one too. Score. Thank you to all the staff that made this day special for me. See you soon.
I cannot recommend this salon, or the stylist Jessica enough!! My daughter had an appointment at “The Proper Tease” at 1:45 to get her hair done at 1:45. After waiting around an hour, we finally left. I tried to do her hair myself but I am a total lost cause at hair so we called around, pretty desperate for anywhere that had an opening. After hearing what happened, despite Jessica essentially just beginning in her clients hair, both Jessica and her equally amazing client said they could not let this happen to her on the night of her senior prom. We zipped up there and Jessica was able to do my daughter’s hair while her client’s hat was processing. Both Jessica and her client were so welcoming and simply delightful, and Jessica did an outstanding job on my daughter’s hair. They did not have to do this but did, because they are just amazing people. Thank you so much, Jessica, for really going above and beyond. You will never truly know how much you and your client touched our hearts.
Very very bad service. They messed up my day on my wedding day!!When they saw how upset I was, the higher up stylist got angry at me and told me to basically calm down and wait for her to be finished (with her current then client) to try and fix my hair or I could leave. I was literally hours away from walking down the aisle. With nowhere else to go I just sucked it up and waited. If I could give 0 stars I would!! I really thought they were better since the reviews were good and since they’re located in downtown. But I guess not..
Sam did an amazing job on my hair. Not everyone can do curly hair, but she did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend her
I’ve started bringing my grand daughters to Sam and she is awesome! Highlights for one and fairy hair for another, always happy!
