I ordered some tacos with door dash and I was so ready to eat…. The mixed veggies were good, the chips and salsa were also good. But the tacos were so bad! I ordered a Korean bbq taco- the texture of the meat was so off and it was so salty. I took one bite and spit it out. I had 2 chicken tacos- el pastor and the 101 taco… the chicken smelled SO bad- I mean bad! I closed them up immediately! They smelled of rotten eggs. The sopapillas were just tortilla chips with cinnamon sugar with some honey. Really disappointed especially for the cost and money wasted!
I tried one of each taco special and the Mexican street corn … everything was delicious! Will definitely be back!
First time stopping by. I really liked the laid back to just fun atmosphere inside. The food that came out had so much flavor in it; in a good way. I didn’t even realize they had a outside patio to eat on until my wife and I was leaving. The prices in general was very reasonable. The girl working the inside was really nice, she stopped by the table a few times to make sure everything was to our enjoyment. The food came out within ten to fifteen of ordering it. We will have to be back for their two dollar taco Tuesdays!!
Classic traditional taco joint in an older brick style building that gives that "off the beaten path/ diamond in the rough" feel to the restaurant. They have a good selection of various tacos that you can mix and match à la carte style. I ordered the "101" chicken taco and the fried fish taco. Both were great with a red cabbage and onion topping that added a pop of flavor to the tacos. The queso dip appetizer is a "must order." However, believe it or not, the items that stood out the most in our meal were the rice and beans (some of the best I've had) and the Strawberry Margarita. Finishing our dinner with some unique sopapillas was a fantastic choice as well. Overall, this place gets an "Apple" rating of 4.3/5 🍎s and we will definitely be return customers.
Friendly local place . Great selection of tacos , burritos and bowls . Worlds better than any of the chain places ( that’s not a big enough compliment) Tacos were tastier than the Tulum bowl / but all ingredients high quality. This was a refreshing treat on our drive south
