Fast friendly service. Prices are average. Alexi our server was great. She was busy but kept a smile. She is a keeper
The food was good, the service was ok. Waitress was very friendly, but we had to flag her down for refills and more napkins. I asked several questions about the menu, and the other server seemed a bit put out by it. So we ordered a patty melt and bacon cheeseburger. Burgers needed more seasoning. Typical small diner with several choices. If we are back in town, we'd go back to try breakfast, which is served all day.
This place was great. The food was fantastic the servings generous all the staff were friendly and the prices for dinners at just over $10 were great deals not seen any norem I highly recommend to travelers and snow birds.
I feel like this place was kind of confusing. It clearly states that it's a diner and they had diner food. But when you walk in it feels Way more cozier than a diner that you'd sit and talk for a while with your old friends. It also feels like you're going to get some kind of country food or Southern cooking. The service was fantastic. Very very excellent. Roseanne was very polite helpful. Now the food on the other hand was the other story. I paid $15 for a piece of crap steak that was overcooked and was like chewing a rubber mat. They didn't even knock off any off the money for how poor the food was. Also the french fries were said to be seasoned. They were just normally crinkle cut fries with no seasoning on them.
Been eating at Wolfys for the past 4 years and always enjoyed a meal here, however my recent trip for lunch left a lot to be desired. Hadnt been there for a while, and I know there's new ownership now, but my country fried steak & mashed potatoes meal was disappointing. Steak size great, a little dab of potatoes, but they were cold and the white gravy on both of them was not hot at all. Prices up slightly, good service, but cool white gravy not good. Alarmed me too as the parking lot and inside was pretty empty compared to in the past - at between 11:30am and noon! Hopefully they'll correct these situations as I love the diner type restaurants, but will be trying some other places out for a while when in Ocala.
